New Year, New You? 14 Day Clean Eating Challenge!
Holiday Detox! 12 Days of Christmas is over now it’s time for 14 days of CLEAN EATING!
Feel bloated, uncomfortable, and out-of-routine after the holidays? YOU’RE NOT ALONE!
No need to beat yourself up- just get back on track! The best way to refocus is to shock the body back into routine and health.
Here’s how we’ll do it.
- Healthy Fats
- Fried foods
- Processed foods
- Grains (minimize)
So what’s the point of the above strategy? To give your digestive system and liver a break! They’ve been hard at work all year and working overtime during the holidays and just like you- they need a reset. How would you like a 2-week vacation? 🙂
Here are 7 healthy and easy recipes to get you started!
- Garlic Lemon Asparagus
- Smoked Salmon Bruschetta
- Chinese Chopped Salad
- Kale Caesar Salad
- Cauliflower fried rice
- Greens & Tuna
- Sweet Potatoes
4 easy goal settinng tips to get you started:
- Decide what you want to be come a HEALTHY HABIT for the rest of your life! Not for just 2 weeks but forever. Get specific- 3L of water a day? Go for a 30 minute walk, 3 times a week? Choose one or two small things you want to become a habit (of course you can enahnce the goal as time goes on and you achieve it!)
- How will you track the above “goal” or habit? For me, a written calender has always worked. I write down every day that I achieved the goal.
- At the end of the month give yourself a score (just like you’re in school!). For example 26 out of 30 days you drank 3L of water daily. 26/30 = 86% success- is that acceptable to you?
- Repeat the above for a minimum of 3 months ( I did it for an entire year back in 2014!)
