PIZZA might be the world’s favorite food!
Trust me, I was a pizza lover, too. Every weekend I would hit up my favorite pizza joint in downtown Phoenix and indulge in that cheesy, saucy goodness!
It wasn’t until about 2 years ago when I realized how bad dairy and pizza, in general, made my body feel.
Okay, let me get super real- it made me constipated beyond belief.
In fact, this is not uncommon. About 75% of people cannot digest dairy after infancy (for that other 25 %- lucky you!).
I started researching more into dairy and learned about how it could affect the digestive system. Now I’m not going to get all controversial and tell you that you should stop eating dairy because you know your body and if you feel fine after consuming dairy- more power to you!
However, I highly recommend sourcing organic, grass-fed dairy so that you’re not consuming hormones, antibiotics, etc.
Unfortunately, a lot of people are unsure about how to source this quality dairy and quite frankly, they are not willing to pay the increased price. So- if that sounds like you- you might want to nix dairy all together!
Anyways, back to PIZZA!
As you can see- I loved/love pizza! But I refuse to eat it regularly because it makes me feel terrible!
