HEALTH BENEFITS OF BONE BROTH

BACK TO BASICS: HEALTH BENEFITS OF BONE BROTH

Most modern people today are used to eating processed food. We eat in restaurants, fast food chains, convenience stores and the like. Before we even realize our wrong actions, aside from spending too much on these “junk foods”, our intestines are being damaged bit by bit. That’s why there is an increasing number of individuals experiencing health problems concerning our digestive tract. You will know that there’s something amiss with your inner tube when it’s making you unwell and noticeably fat. You may experience bloating, heartburn, reflux, constipation, diarrhea and more bizarre things that are unworthy to mention.

The health of your gut determines what nutrients are immersed and what toxic substances are purged. The gut serves as the permeable membrane or the “strainer” of our digestive system. The intestines, where nutrients are absorbed, generally have constricted cell junctions to make the digested food distinct from the blood stream. Unfortunately, due to the poor lifestyle of some people today, these junctions begin to degrade loosely. The links between the cells are diminished, making the toxins and undigested proteins spurt into the bloodstream causing systemic reactions.

How to heal the damaged gut?

Since over-the-counter drugs are costly and it can possibly lead to rebound effects- making the condition worse, we’re bringing back the basic conventional dish which has been known to have a lot of health benefits! As they call it the “magic elixir’”- today’s healthy food craze is a SOUP. That’s right! People are somersaulting with this BONE BROTH that has been found out to have curative and preventive health benefits that can help our gut be more functional and effective.

What is it in this magical bone broth that benefit you specifically?

Bone broth is basically a variety of bones and cartilage from animals boiled in water with vinegar (to potentiate the release of minerals from the bones). Primarily, bone itself has a vast component of mineral compounds. Bone broth has components which are effortlessly absorbed by the body. Just so you know, bone broth is one of the remedial foods for the digestive system that is jam-packed with nutrients. Therefore this can be a nourishing way of eating and it can help you resolve symptoms of associated to poor digestion. It can also help you cleanse the intestinal area.

Collagen. It has been learnt to help repair the lining of the digestive tract. Collagen redoubles stomach acid helping to break down the food taken and prevent heartburn and reflux. It also composes amino acids (building block of protein) in which the stomach lining is shielded from injury and ward off ulcers.

Gelatin. The gelatin in the bone broth protects and restore the lining in the digestive tract. It also aids in the digestion of nutrients. The gelatin will break down foods for uncomplicated digestion. It also helps the food to pass slowly.

Glutamine. This is an amino acid that has been ascertained to tweak the lining of the intestinal tract and heal leaky gut syndrome (where the lining of the intestines become weak). It also boosts the intestinal lining function to prevent food allergies by avoiding food leaking into the bloodstream.

Fat. Remember, not all fats are harmful! Fats in bone broth can help recondition the gut which will help in the absorption of more minerals. Bone broth is even healthier than buying supplements. Bone broth has an assortment of mineral components while commercial supplements contain only one or two of these components

But wait, THERE’S MORE HEALTH BENEFITS OF BONE BROTH!

Did you know that bone broth can also improve your …

Joints. By the theory of wear and tear, our joints naturally degenerates as we get older. The gelatin in the bone broth acts like a soft separator between bones that help them glide without rubbing. It also provides calcium needed to maintain strong bone density.

Skin. Are you familiar with the collagen supplements that are marketed to help nourish your skin? Well since collagen is abundant in bone broth, then it has been attributed to help reduce visible signs of wrinkles, lessen cellulites and decrease signs of aging.

Brain. Our brain is made up of mostly fat. Hence, we need heaps of good fats to upkeep it. Osteocalcin (a hormone found in bones) has sustained direct effects on brain function improving memory and mood. It can also reduce anxiety. Plus calcium and magnesium, in combination, they have calming effects to the muscles.

Immune system. Since bone broth has favorable effects to restore our gut’s well-being, it leads to support the immune system function and advantageous inflammation response. It can even stimulate healthy sleep, boost energy during the day and support a healthy mood.

Now can you remember the time when you were young and sickly and your grandmother would bring you some soup? Grandma told you to finish that soup and you actually felt better? That’s just actually the same soup that we were talking about. And this SOUP might not just be a treatment for cough and colds. It can also help you detoxify all the toxins in the body. You might want to replace this with your everyday cup of tea or coffee. Save some petty cash while saving your shape! The simpler, the better. Isn’t it?

Incredible info! I was feeling ill yesterday afternoon and decided to try this alternative form of relieving my headache/cold symptoms. The warm bone broth tasted great and I woke up today feeling much better!

Side note: I purchased a 32 ounce supply of the bone broth and my original plan was to drink 8 ounces for the next 4 days… I ended up drinking all 32 ounces that night! I just liked the taste and couldn’t stop once I popped the top!
