Easy 3-Day Juice Cleanse

This easy 3-day juice cleanse aka fluid cleanse is meant to nourish and hydrate the body.

Some important notes before you get started:

  • Please use all organic ingredients! You want to fill your body with nutrients not pesticides!
  • The day before your cleanse, only eat vegetable based foods such as salads, vegetable soup,
  • The day after your cleanse continue with your morning juice and only eat vegetable based foods such as salads, vegetable soup, etc. You will want to ease your body back into normal food, otherwise, you will bloat up!
  • Drink at least 3L of water a day.
  • Easy on the exercise. Working out is a great complement to juicing, however, your body will be adjusting to a different routine, therefore, I recommend walking for 30 minutes a day.
  • You will need a powerful blender to make these recipes. I use a NutriBullet. 

Optional Morning Routine: 

This will really amp up your juice cleanse!

  • 1 tbsp liquid bentonite clay mixed in 10oz of water (Whole Foods or Amazon)
    Take this first thing in the morning at least 30 minutes before your juice!
  • Warm lemon water

Easy 3-Day Juice Cleanse Recipes

Breakfast- Morning Power Juice!

  • 1 cup kale
  • 1-inch cucumber
  • ½ inch fresh ginger, peeled
  • ½ fresh lemon juice
  • 1-2 cups water (depending on the consistency)
  • Blend all ingredients in a powerful blender for about 2-3 minutes.

Lunch- Extreme Juice!

  • ½ green apple, cored
  • ½ carrot
  • ½ fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ yellow bell pepper
  • 1-inch cucumber
  • 1 broccoli stump (about an inch)
  • 1-inch red beet
  • ½ avocado
  • 1-2 cups of water (depending on the consistency)
  • Blend all ingredients in a powerful blender for about 2-3 minutes. 

Dinner- Dessert Smoothie!

  • 10oz cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ banana, frozen
  • ¼ avocado
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 3 drops stevia or 1 tsp raw honey
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder (not cocoa powder!) get this at a health food store
  • Optional: cinnamon, vanilla extract, hemp seeds, almond butter.
  • Blend all ingredients in a powerful blender for about 2-3 minutes.

FAQ

I’m hungry! What do I do?

Have another juice or eat an avocado- the point of a juice cleanse is to have zero solid foods, however, sometimes we need to have something to “chew” and an avocado will be super filling!

Will I lose weight?

Probably!

Will I have to pee a lot?

Yes! Drinking 3L of water a day in addition to 3 juices will have you peeing a ton. This is a good thing, though! You’re flushing your intestines out- win!

Will I be pooping all day?

Everybody is different. Some people go a lot and others have normal movements. However, many people have participated in this juice cleanse I have never received any feedback about any bowel discomfort throughout their day.

Will I have withdrawal/detox reactions?
Depends on your current lifestyle. If you drink coffee often and/or eat a lot of sugar/carbs you may experience headaches and some tiredness.

Is this going to be enough “food”?
Absolutely! Each juice is more nutritious than most people’s meals. With blending everything you get ALL of the nutrients which is what your body needs to function.

I want to quit- what do I do?
At minimum, you need to complete the day. Don’t bail out at lunch time and certainly don’t bail out at dinner. Just finish the day!

I’ll still be cooking for my family- is this going to be harder for me?

Probably. Smelling the food and watching your family eat can be difficult. This is where your self-control comes in.
Tip* cook them healthy meals so they are participating with you at a different capacity. Ordering them a pizza is going to be more tempting than baking them chicken and veggies!
